I was the bad customer in this relationship. I was quoted $134 for a new business moving in to a rental unit and I needed the carpet cleaned. I left key for cleaner to allow themselves in. He calls and quotes $216. Quite a jump in price. I wanted to spend. $100 and $134 was doable but $219? Ouch. He quoted the carpet was 1000 sq feet. Impossible! I rented a 1300 sq Ft unit with two bathrooms and a small kitchen with a counter. No way this is 1000 of carpet. He explains the device used to scan the area.
