“Panic striken early this morning, I jumped on Yelp and on Google to find someone to save me from losing hundreds of dollars in groceries spoiling in my refrigerator that suddenly stopped working!
I texted, I called...no one answered except Century. Wow. Out of literally a dozen businesses contacted (and this isn't a dishwasher or stove or washing machine that you can either do without or work around it--this is an entire week's worth of groceries I just stocked up in my fridge last night possibly going bad in front of my eyes), only one place I called could have someone out TODAY to either fix or diagnose the problem. And answered the phone or called me back BEFORE NOON!
Since I deliver mail locally, this is my only day off until Sunday. I can't take off work simply because my refrigerator stopped working! I'm at my wit's end!
They came through for me though. Saved at the end of the day when Don showed up after an exhaustive day of working on other people's appliances and I'm his last stop. And after 6pm to boot!
Problem diagnosed, dog introduced so that she knew his scent when he came back to fix it, even if I'm not home. Going to be a rough week with no refrigerator, but at least there's a not too expensive fix coming in the future and dependable people who go the extra mile (literally!) to help others in their time of need!
I'll update this after the final repair, but at least for now, I'm pretty happy with the results.“
