Truly a great office. From the front office team to the vet staff everyone is so kind and has no problem explaining or answering any questions you have. This place is very customer service focused and it shows. A little on the pricey side but what vet isn’t also you get what you pay for here.

Very happy that we have Pet street to help care for our labradors. One has Seizures and those are a scary thing and I know all the Dr we have seen have helped us care for our dogs. We love Petstreet and appreciate that they have SAT appointments.

After 5 years with this vet group we were basically told our frenchie was less important after 2 rescheduled appointments this week even though my guy was in distress. They advised to go to a specialist without out an exam. Apparently our appt was less lucrative than others. Very disappointing. Words of advice…seek care elsewhere! They only care about $$!

On Friday, May 21st I was bringing Rumples, my 11 years old female Pug, back from Animal Cancer Care in Melborne. Rumples began making alarming noises as she was trying to breath. At 3:00 PM I got to Ormond Beach and took her to Pet Street. Rumples was completely limp, simply collapsing on the floor like a bear rug and was gasping for air. Dr. van Deijck immediately saw her, did tests, drained air from her extended stomach and administered oxygen. He later put her in an oxygen tent. He advised she had developed pneumonia and was close to death, but when I picked her up at 7:30 PM, she was her old self. In fact as soon as I got her home she was running around the house and I had to catch her to get to calm down.

Rumples and my six year old mixed miniature Pincher, Cherry, have been going to Pet Street since August 2014 when we first moved from north of Atlanta to Ormond Beach.

In late January I noticed a little drop of blood on the puppy pads I put out for the dogs to use at night. After determining it was from Rumples, I took her over to Pet Street. In less than a half hour Dr. Schechter was able to do a sonogram, x ray and give a probable diagnosis of Bladder Cancer. From all I've read, it is a very difficult to diagnose. Dr. Schecter was able to find a specialty vet for chemo therapy.

I am hopeful that Rumples will survive a lot longer with this care, thanks for the speedy diagnosis from Dr. Schecter and the work that Dr. van Deijck did to save her from pneumonia.

I have recommended several people to take their pets to Pet Street as they are up to date on making an accurate diagnosis and render the proper treatment. More importantly, they care about the pets and their owners.

Anyone who has a pet in the Ormond Beach area should consider taking their pets to Pet Street Veterinary Care Center.
