Moved to Plantation Bay primarily for the “supposed” private golf community. They boast 45 holes of golf available. Between the days down for Maintinance, the 10 weeks each summer one or both courses are closed, the non member outings and more, getting prime tee times is a challenge. No way is this place worth the $50,000 initiation fee. If you’re not into golf, this is a beautiful amenity filled community. But if golf is a big part of your life, beware.

I got invited to play golf at Debmont and was greeted very nicely by the bag drop man then went into the pro shop to pay for what I was bying when the starter Walter came in and was very rude to me he who let me on this golf course and made a few more comments.

Just went to the club with friends for dinner. The food was excellent, a good value. Nice atmosphere. Discovered an excellence Pinot. Apparently great for lunch after a round golf too.
