I got an Aloe Delight pedicure with a gel polish upgrade which came out to $65. Most of the service was great but when I asked the tech (Lin) to take out my ingrown toe nails in my big toes it seemed like she acknowledged my request but she never did take them out. When she started to get closer to the part of the scrub and hot towel, I noticed she said something to the tech working next to her. That tech then asked me what color I wanted and confirmed I wanted gel polish. I confirmed and said I wanted a white color. I got a French tip done on my toes and it turned out beautiful! The exfoliation and lotion felt heavenly, I need to figure out what they use asap lol!
Update: 3 weeks in - still no chipping ?
This place used to be great, but I went in for a pedicure today after an absence and was really disappointed. I showed up 15 minutes early and my tech was free but didn’t greet me until after my appointment time, claiming she “thought it was a different customer she was waiting for.” Then during the pedicure it felt like she was digging under my toenails. It was very painful. I got gel and it turned out fine but it already chipped not even 12 hours later.
Update: I went back to the salon and they were able to touch up my gel right away, which I totally appreciate. However, both my big toes are still hurting today from the tech digging under the... read full review
