Steven has been teaching piano to my son for a little over a year. In that time my son has learned a great deal about music and played many songs that interest him. We are very proud of his progress. Steven is an excellent piano instructor and I highly recommend him to anyone interested in learning piano.
I started taking piano lessons with Steven probably about a month and a half ago. I’m grown, but I’ve always really wanted to play piano ever since I was a kid. I have some experience with music but no formal training. I definitely had no idea about anything related to piano. Our first lesson I could barely find and play middle C. Steven has been so helpful in helping me understand everything and is genuinely just a really good person. He has such a deep understanding of not only piano, but also music theory which is extremely helpful in building a foundation of music for anyone no matter what age. Steve has been working with my daughter over a year; and she has grown so much as a piano player and performer. I never have to remind her to go practice, I often find her sat on the stool making music - she genuinely enjoys her lessons with him and he has brought back her love of playing.
He has a great gift for teaching, and makes learning fun.
I would recommend him to anyone wanting to learn - he gets you playing rather than just repeating over and over the same piece .
