My husband and I decided on a set budget if I wanted to get a massage while on vacation. The massage was $10 over that budget and we agree that we could splurge a little. When I went to make the reservation online, their pricing had gone up $30. Which is not reflected on the website. I called hoping they would honour the pricing that is advertised and they wouldn’t allow it. As you see in the screenshot, it is advertised as $160 but booking online is $190. I was so sad to miss out.

My experience at the Salon within the Mandara Spa (signature hair cut and color correct) with Gelinda was amazing! I left the Spa a brand new person, literally! Gelinda was wonderful, the way she worked with me on my vision for my hair and guiding me through the process in a warm, friendly way made my experience unforgettable! Each staff member I encountered was kind and helpful during my time there and the Spa lounge area was a peaceful retreat (tip for book lovers: there are some comfy lounge chaises in the women’s lounge - so don’t forget to bring your own book!)

Do not go here - as you can see from the other reviews this is not a Spa!! They don't treat you as such. Although my actual masseuse was great - the Manager (Nina) and the front desk girls are of no help. I sadly (and by accident) left very meaningful bracelets and a necklace in my pocket of my robe - I completely forgot and left and called about 2 hours after when I noticed they were gone. They told me they would "look" and follow up with me. I never recieved a follow up phone call that night so I called back.. they said that they had not found anything, probably because they DIDNT LOOK!!! I put my robe in one of the dirty clothes bins which is lined with a clear plastic garbage bag there is no way they couldnt find it - so then the next day, still no follow up call, instead they let me know that they already sent the laundry out knowing my jewelry was missing! The manager called me and told me that she "personally" looked - I dont believe that because I know if they really cared and looked they would have found my special pieces :( I even went to the spa the next day and they would let me look even - just super disappointed and upset. I would not recommend due to poor customer service / the fact that they dont care. I mean look - they dont even respond to all the negative reviews they get. End rant

Fat Shaming Spa
We were fat shamed.
My sister, cousin and I went there this past week for a relaxing spa day for my cousins birthday. I’m an XL, and my cousin is a 3XL. We’re by all means not small women. We know that. But what we don’t need is someone saying we won’t fit in their robes.
Everything was fine when we checked in. When we were brought to the locker room a woman came in and tells me, “I changed your robe for the bigger one, it should fit.” She then tells my cousin, “I changed yours too but it might not fit. We don’t have anything bigger than 2X.” She kept carrying on and on about the size of the robes and repeating that it wouldn’t fit my cousin. Like lady, just change the robes and leave. It was very embarrassing. Especially because other clients were in the space with us. It was humiliating.
I have never encountered anything like this before. The three of us spent over $900 there just to be fat shamed. I normally wouldn’t say anything but the past few days it’s all I keep thinking about and I don’t want it to happen to the next thick woman.
I also tried numerous times to reach out to the manager to express my concern. No response from them.

Went to the spa for a massage as gift. The spa area was dirty and could use a good clean. The waiting area the receptionist had me wait in was the most uncomfortable bench I had ever sat on. I would have preferred a folding chair to relax in rather than seating provided. My massage started a few minutes late and then finished a few minutes early. I was gifted a 75 min massage and was out of the spa before the 75min was up. I’m just disappointed in the whole experience for the cost of the massages. Would not recommend!

Went to the spa for a gel manicure and pedicure in December. The staff person was friendly but the quality of the mani/pedi was really poor, especially for the price. The spa itself is a bit shabby. Manicure was particularly unpleasant because you sit in front of the spa near the front desk. I could hear staff bad mouthing other customers who were scheduling/cancelling appointments that day. Overall off putting, expensive experience for a terrible mani and pedi.

I went for the spa pedicure. My polish looks good, my calluses are much softer, and I enjoyed myself - but the overall experience is just meh. It it extremely overpriced.
