Mandara Spa, located at Loews Portofino Bay Hotel at Universal Orlando, offers a 13,000 sq ft. sanctuary for relaxation. Guests can enjoy various treatments, including spa pedicures, facials, and massages. The decor has been described as "dingy" and not well-maintained, but some rooms are nice. However, exceptional therapists like Bill have received high praise for their exceptional service, making the spa worth visiting despite some drawbacks. Visitors have had wonderful times with kind and considerate staff, and the Spa lounge area is a peaceful retreat. The Fire and Ice massage is pure bliss, and the staff goes above and beyond to make the experience memorable. Masseuse Ashley has a tender yet firm ability that tames all aches and stress, integrating mind, body, and soul into a session that transcends guests into peace and well-being.
My experience at the Salon within the Mandara Spa (signature hair cut and color correct) with Gelinda was amazing! I left the Spa a brand new person, literally! Gelinda was wonderful, the way she worked with me on my vision for my hair and guiding me through the process in a warm, friendly way made my experience unforgettable! Each staff member I encountered was kind and helpful during my time there and the Spa lounge area was a peaceful retreat (tip for book lovers: there are some comfy lounge chaises in the women’s lounge - so don’t forget to bring your own book!)
