My 5 year old daughter had never gotten a haircut and was adamant she wouldn't get one. I convinced her that it would be okay if we did it on our Disney World trip and she agreed. She was very nervous at the beginning but the cast members were wonderful, she got an Elsa wand and immediately relaxed. We got the first haircut option which included the cut, 1st Haircut Mickey Ears and a lock of hair to keep. It was a pretty good price especially considering it's on Disney Property and a wonderful memory to have. The barbershop is very small inside and they seem to stay busy so make sure to reserve a spot a head of time. I'm so happy she was able to get her first haircut at Disney.
Amazing experience. Dulce was great, and made quick work of my half-bald buzzcut of a hairdo :-D I always wanted to get my hair cut at Disney world...And I did. That's kinda weird, isn't it?
Love this place for its location! It's right in the front of the park so if you are only coming for the haircut, which we did, it was super fast. You do need an admission ticket to get in here, but if you are planning on spending the day, that wouldn't be a problem anyhow. We arrived probably with five minutes to spare for our two children's first haircut! A gentleman greeted us outside and he wasn't super friendly, but it was OK, the ones who actually did the haircutting inside were awesome! My daughter did phenomenal because the girl was really sweet and made her feel very comfortable. My little guy on the other hand, at just one year old, did pretty OK, his hair is a little crooked here and there, but we'll take it lol I love the first haircut includes a lock of hair, a certificate and a my first haircut,Mickey ear. Not bad for $28 each!
