About Championship Martial Arts - Avalon Park

Championship Martial Arts - Avalon Park offers a clean environment and attentive instructors who encourage students. Many parents appreciate the supportive learning atmosphere, especially for young children, and have noticed significant improvement in their kids' focus and skills. However, some customers feel uncomfortable and unwelcome, citing issues with communication and a lack of support for existing members. They express frustration over the emphasis on attracting new students rather than retaining current ones. Despite these concerns, the sense of community among students remains a positive aspect for some families.

My daughter has been coming here for about a year and she loves it. The instructors are so great, attentive, encouraging, and patient. She started at 3yrs old and it was challenging for her to focus and follow what the class was doing at first, but there was always an instructor or student leader who helped her get on track. It's been awesome to see her improvement and focus over this past year.

I have never felt so uncomfortable and unwelcome somewhere that gets such a huge chunk of my money every month. The only time anyone there even acknowledges my existence is when it's time to renew the contract. If you don't have the time to take part in all of their costly extra activities, bring in prospective students and basically promote their business it really feels like they don't have much use for you or your child. My significant other will not even step foot in there again after being treated rudely and ignored one to many times. I've continued because my child has made friends there and enjoys it but it has really become a stressful and miserable experience. There is a ton of emphasis on getting new customers and none on keeping the ones they have.

The Instructors Mr Zaus, Mr Jr, Mr Brandon, Mr Jim are the main team that we see the most. They teach with love, care and compassion. I am continuously amazed at their patience, understanding and communication with children. We have a younger child that sometimes zones out and gets...read full review
