I took my girl there to be seen as an abscess/tumor ulcerated and was leaking. Clearly infected. When I got there, there were no other vehicles there other than mine as far as patients. I was there a total of 2 hours and change. I ended up just leaving with my girl. I was told the doctor would be in, in a few minutes and she never came. I was told they had some urgent cases come in however we were literally there when no one was there. A lady brought puppies to be checked out after we got there and she was seen before we were. Then a dog that needed antihistamine (we could hear the doctor speaking with the dog's parent). I left so disappointed. I had high hopes. The staff mentioned I could just follow up with her vet in the morning. I couldn't leave my dog in her condition to wait till morning. I didn't know what exactly was wrong, to chance her becoming septic was not an option for me. I ended up taking her to another 24hr vet hospital where she got two strong doses of antibiotics and pain meds. Smh The staff is very pleasant but the overall treatment for my dog was substandard.

Dr. Smyth cared for our cat. She was caring and compassionate, especially at the end. It's clear the people at Blue Pearl care about their patients and the people that bring them. Dr. Smyth and Blue Pearl helped us navigate an extremely difficult path with compassion and empathy. Her empathy made a very painful experience much more bearable.

Dr and staff very caring, engaging and knowledgeable. No waiting. After examining Lil Lucy the Dr. Tano explained in detail the various modalities used for arthritis. She followed up with an email received later that day listing all facets of treating Lucys arthritis listing names of supplements and treatments. Very positive experience.

Our experience at the lake Underhill location was awesome. They treated Shyla like she was their own dog. Everyone there was very professional and explained everything in detail. They definitely went above and beyond to make our experience there comfortable. The Waterford Lakes Blue Pearl location is without a doubt top notch Veterinarian specialists.

VERY disappointed. My 15 year old cat was just diagnosed with cancer in his paw. Called to see how quickly I could get a consult and decide what treatment would be best. The woman on the phone was rude, unhelpful and lacked any empathy for my situation. She insisted I had to choose either surgical or radiation consult. When I tried again to explain I wanted my cat to be seen to determine treatment, she said that the doctor was out and earliest appointment would be When I said that was a long time, she replied you can call to other places and see if they have any openings. She did nothing to help me. I will never call them again and will NOT recommend them.

Dr. McGovern at Blue Pearl in Waterford Lakes is amazing. She took expert care of my Pomeranian who had a very rare liver condition. He wasn’t expected to live more than a few months, but she helped me get almost five more years with him, until he passed last summer at 16-1/2 years old. Recently, my primary vet thought my new rescue dog had a liver issue. Of course, I went directly to Dr. McGovern. I highly recommend her and the entire compassionate team, including wonderful vet techs Susan and Stephanie.

I do not recommend this office for anything in the world... my dog had a mass on her leg and was very swollen with some studies they did on her, they did not know what it was, then they told her that they had to do a CT and a process to find out what she had. My dog told me that I had to pay $6,000 in advance and then if they had to do an operation it would be approximately $5,000 or more. Actually, money was not the problem. The problem is that during the visit they only focused on numbers. It is not a solution for me. little dog This place doesn't care about your dog's life, they only care about your money. They never worried about giving him any pain medication or checking what he had before his next visit. My dog died before her next visit since I had to go to the emergency room. This place is completely a scam, they only care about your money and not the life of your pet. I'm not one to write reviews but please find another place for your pet, this is not a good place.

Blue Pearl was always great with taking care of my cat with multiple medical issues. The staff was always friendly and caring and Dr. McGovern is informative and kind. I was nervous going to a specialty hospital due to the anticipated prices, and although they're not cheap, the care provided is worth it.
