Outstanding care, communication, and follow-through — forever grateful
We brought our dog, Betty Boop, to Animal Cancer Care Clinic during one of the most stressful times a pet owner can face, and I can’t say enough good things about the care we received from start to finish.
For context: Betty was diagnosed by our local vet with a Stage 2 soft tissue sarcoma in her rear paw. Our vet actually recommended this clinic (and has even used them for her own dog), which gave us confidence from day one. I loved how quick they responded to my initial inquiry.
Our surgeon, Dr. Tammi Ruddle, was absolutely incredible: knowledgeable, personable, calm, and truly reassuring. She explained everything clearly, answered every question, and made us feel like Betty was in the best possible hands (because she was).
Our initial consultation was with Dr. Shannon O’Day, who was thorough, straightforward, and extremely informative. She gave us exactly what we needed to make an informed decision for Betty’s care — and when I asked what she would do in our situation, she actually answered. That honesty meant a lot, more than she probably knows.
The entire staff was wonderful: kind, patient, and genuinely caring. What stood out most was the follow-through, they did everything they said they would do. Updates, communication, follow-ups… that level of consistency and professionalism is rare these days.
I also want to share our outcome: Betty’s margins came back clean, and we were told they believe they removed all of the cancer in that area. I know outcomes can vary and nothing is guaranteed, but I truly believe this result was possible because of this team’s expertise, planning, and care.
Lastly, a note: veterinary oncology is emotional, high-stakes, and scary, and that stress can color how experiences are perceived. From our perspective, this clinic delivered exactly what you hope for: expertise, compassion, and clear communication.
We’re deeply grateful to the Animal Cancer Care Clinic team for helping our girl through this with such honesty and care. Highly recommend to anyone facing cancer with their four-legged family member.

This was my first time bringing my young Kitty in and even though I will not be using their services because of the special circumstances with my cat, this place was BEYOND wonderful!! The staff was so kind, they spent so much time with me, answering all my questions and just making me feel peaceful about my decision. From when I first walked in the door to when I left, I felt cared for. Highly recommend.

We love it here our Mocha girl is treated with the utmost care! Everyone that works there is awesome very caring and attentive with each an every dog or cat that walks through their doors. Dr. Sones is amazing very passionate about what he does he makes you feel comfortable and eases all your worries with how knowledgeable he is. You can see he cares about our babies. He has been very patient with all our questions since our initial visit and explains every step of the treatment our girl is getting. We just couldn't of asked for a better oncologist and clinic to treat our girl.

I've been trying to contact this office for days. And no one answers, no one has gotten back to me after leaving voicemail and a request online.

If I could give them more stars I would. My dog had a mass on his pancreas which required surgery. This was devastating to me me, however, the staff as a whole were kind, compassionate and got me in. They did everything they could to save me money, down to unnecessary things that would have been another $3000.00. Dr Tammi Ruddle treated my dog and hid surgery as a doctor operating on a family member would. She called immediately after and gave me the information Marion I needed. They have a night nurse who takes care of your pet and calls you when she gets there. She was also very kind and went out of her way to make sure my spoiled dog would eat. A huge thanks to Jennifer for being kind and compassionate as well. They are not overpriced, surgery is not cheap , however they do not charge or suggest unnecessary things. Still waiting to see if the cancer has spread. Prayers it did not.
There is no need to go out of town if this unfortunate thing happens to your fur baby. They are top notch and I cannot thank them enough.

my dog peaches has had to come here twice. Every time they accommodate us so well, my dog is never scared to go here and it’s an overall good experience.
Despite the cancer part ofc, but this staff, the doctors have a very good practice and great customer service. Forgive me for only knowing doctor Ruddles name, but everyone here is just amazing ! Thank you from Teresa Shelly and peaches!

Wonderful place to care for your pet! Everyone was kind and professional. Dr. Reynolds was excellent, and so caring. My dog had a tumor removed that could have left him incontinent, but has been perfectly fine. 🐕🦺💕

Dr. Moore and her team are absolutely the best! The way Dr. Moore explained what is going on with our pup is very much appreciated. She was detailed and patient and answered all of my questions. I never felt rushed, which was very much appreciated. A special shout out to Tyler, Ty, and Ashley. You went above and beyond and your kindness does not go unnoticed. Thank you for treating Piper like your very own. I knew she was in great hands. Thank you all!
