Dr. Hyler & Associates is a well-established obstetric and gynecologic practice that has been serving women and families in Middleburg, Orange Park, and the Jacksonville area since 1996. The team includes physicians, nurse practitioners, and midwives, all committed to providing outstanding services while ensuring personal care and attention. Patients have consistently praised the doctors for their patience, kindness, and ability to listen to concerns and questions. Dr. Hyler has been recognized for his exceptional bedside manners and attentiveness, making patients feel valued and heard throughout their pregnancy journeys. Dr. Ayuso has also received positive feedback for her supportive care, especially during critical moments. The practice's recent expansion to Fleming Island has been welcomed by patients, who appreciate the kindness of the front office and nurses. Although there have been mixed reviews about the continuity of care, many still report having a wonderful experience with the midwives and staff. The only issue I ever had was a couple appointments getting rescheduled last minute due to the practitioners getting called into deliveries. The middleburg location was by far my favorite location and always got me in and out in a timely manner. Their ultrasound setup was also far superior to the fleming location. I loved all the midwives that saw me during the pregnancy. Not that I wouldn’t have been in good hands delivering with Ms. Sharron (she had to go to St. Vincent’s for another delivery), but I ended up with Dr. Hyler delivering my baby boy and he was just fantastic. He was phenomenal and his bedside manner was unmatched. Even my family who were in the room during the delivery couldn’t stop saying how great he was. He had me laughing while pushing, he explained things in a way that helped me understand what was going on, he let me know what I needed to do and got my baby boy out safely. He even let me look at the placenta because I was curious to see it in the actual flesh. I was excited when I found out that the 6 week pp apt would be with who delivered me (Dr. Hyler) and it was so great to see him again. Although he joked around about seeing me in a year with another one, I could honestly say that if I were to want another - I would, without a doubt - use Hyler and Associates. Thank you to everyone from the office staff, nurses, midwives, and drs. The process from start to finish was great overall!
