Came here to say Joan did some work for me on a dress and she basically altered magic. This was not an easy dress to work with but Joan was very accommodating and was able to work with this uniform piece. When I got home and put this dress on, I felt amazing! It fit beautiful and I am happy with the outcome. She is a very caring person and she strives to make people feel good when they put on clothes. Businesses are tough to run especially when it comes to pleasing every customers needs. I just want Joan to know she met mine ❤️

Our first visit to "Alterations by Joan" will not be our last!
As we entered Joan's shop we heard her beautiful voice filling her space with song and praise. She gave us a warm welcome, took my mother by the hand and began the process of alterations for my mother's wedding pant suit and rehersal dinner dress. Joan sensed my mother needed some extra care and never skipped a beat in her time and attention to my mother's needs. Experienced seamstress. Got my dress done on time. Could have called to say it was ready earlier than we realized which would’ve saved some rushing at the end of the day.
