The course was in pretty bad shape for the dollar value. Fairways were barren with very little grass. Tee boxes were horrible, greens were OK, but many of them had crabgrass in spots. Understand there’s basically a drought currently, but it appears that management has done very little to Mitigate through this.
Played the Forest for the first time since they are watering it again. It is getting better but has a long way to go to become their premier course again. It will take a few more months as the tees and fairways are just starting to grow back and need some TLC to come back and be great.
I was surprised at how bad the conditions of the courses were….the staff, food and service is superb!!
The courses, both Forest and Lakes are in bad condition…. Please DO NOT pay more than $40 to play there… it is worse than a cow pasture…. Hopefully, some rain, water and irrigation will get Eagles back to soar!!
