I there is absolutely nothing reasonable about the pricing here. I cannot even begin to understand the logic behind how they determine and consequently price their items. This “thrift” store is having an identity crisis because nothing about this store is thrifty.
way overpriced. Now they have an ebay section so that means they are looking every single item up before selling it. $10 golf clubs. Some 20 year old stereo amplifier that goes for $120 shipped on ebay they wanted like $60-80 for it most thrift stores would be $5-20 on something like that. Coffee mugs are all over the place, some are $1(they all should be) the one I was going to buy that sells for $20 on ebay they had it for $10. When every single thing is individually priced that's an indicator that it is all overpriced. I've been in there about 5x as I live a couple miles away, I bought 1 thing in 5 trips. I won't ever be back, just a waste of time with the prices.
I have gone to this store multiple times over the last several months. Prices are ridiculously high, for example- yesterday I found a vintage crystal bowl- it was marked $30 but I can buy the same bowl for $15-20 on eBay or Etsy. eBay and Etsy are usually higher than thrifts because the items are purchased- not donated. The profits that are used to help people and programs are going to go down because they are pricing private resellers right out of their stores. The last 4 times I have gone I have not purchased anything due to the ridiculous prices.
