As a result of a long battle with nerve damage that ultimately led to a rapid onset of partial paralysis of his legs, we made the difficult, but correct decision to have my horse Jessie euthanized. Our go-to veterinarian, Dr Reynolds, and her technician Meghyn came on very short notice to perform that procedure. OMG, these people are amazing !
They saved our Gentle Giant from a bad case of sand colic and then we had a crew of about 18 ! help to get the 2000 lb stubborn boy back into the trailer for his ride home. There was one particular wrangler (didn't get her name) who took a good 20 mins cajoling him step by step into the trailer and then had to use the emergency window ! after we got the doors closed behind him. Really a fantastic group ! If you have a sick horse this is the place to get him to
Dr. Hoff was very kind and compassionate when she came out on an emergency call to help transition our pet goat girly after a bad freak accident. We truly appreciate her and her calm in our time of sadness.
