With a name like “the ranch” you can correctly assume that they are primitive minded. Be careful of being alone at this place. One of their elderly personal trainers, a former cop “Ned”, physically cornered my brown friend, mistakenly accusing her of changing the music when she did nothing. Clearly he had no knowledge of the technology used in the gym. He didn’t even apologize after realizing the fact. What disgustingly childish behavior for a community staff member. Management condones this kind of behavior? Terrible representation for this gym.
There's something for everyone at The Ranch and I've tried out many of the offerings. The front desk greets you with a smile and is staffed by professionals. The Spa was a great experience - my facial and massage and pedicure were performed by professionals. They even have a boutique shop with great items for yourself or gifting. The classes (yoga, Pilates, TRX, Zumba, Muscle Mix, water aerobics and more) are run by friendly and experienced leaders. Exercise equipment is kept clean and in top working order. My contact with personal training went extremely well.
I have been going to the Ranch for many years. It is clean and inviting and all who serve are polite and professional. Today was different and disappointing. I have had my hair cut there and for pedicures. Today, I went for a fast pedicure and I had Sofia. As she was doing my service, I mentioned to her that my right toe hurt. She told me I had an ingrown toe nail and she had not touch it. Which is strange as she cut the toe nail and took care of the cuticle. I said, "It was not hurting when I arrived." When I was leaving, she my name is Sofia and NEVER book with me. I felt she was rude. As I was checking out, I was asked how my service was and I told them. The manager immediately said let me make this right for you. I told her I would pay for the service but she insisted. I will go back to the Ranch as it clean but I will stay away from Sofia as rudeness in my book is not acceptable.
