When we first arrived in Ocala Florida, 2015, we called A&R and set up a service check on our A/C unit. The were prompt and courteous, the technician went through the whole system and gave us a positive report that all was well and operational. He suggested we may want to set up a maintenance plan, that included 2 yearly maintenance visits. The cost has been worth price. On one of his visits, our A/C unit was not working properly. Found out the compressor had exploded, yes exploded. The compressor broke from its moorings, and leaked all is oil. We have enjoyed having A&R as our Service Provider for our A/C for the passed 9 years. They are Reliable and Courteous, and well trained.
Called A&R at about 8AM because the condensate pump on our 20-year-old Trane heat pump stopped working. Fluid was dripping out when the air conditioning was running. Phone was answered promptly, and we were told that the serviceman Shane would come by between 9 and noon. At 9 AM Shane arrived, took the pump apart, figured out was wrong (lots of gunk clogging the pump). He cleaned it up and had it working within the hour. Also gave us advice on how to reduce the likelihood of similar problems by using vinegar. The cost of the service call was reasonable and I appreciate that he saved the old pump, rather than simply replacing it at a higher cost.
my husband and i were out of ac from july 4th until july 6th 2023. we are elderly and my husband has lung problems. the home warranty people never got us a tech of any sort and let us suffer with the unbearable heat. no one called us back to fix the problem until i called A&R co. on july 6th after regular hours. Bo was so caring and came over at 830pm and got us air. we so appreciate this man. we have a contract now with this reputable company. we thank you so much.we will be well cared for from now on.
