I cannot recommend Downtown Hair Lounge enough, especially Kate Crawford.
The salon itself is absolutely beautiful—warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed, with toys and a kid-friendly environment that immediately puts children at ease.
Kate is truly exceptional. She specializes in cutting hair for neurodivergent children and kids with sensory processing disorders, and it shows in everything she does. She was incredibly patient, flexible, and loving with our son. She followed his lead completely—cutting his hair while he sat, stood, walked around, or played with toys—never rushing him and never forcing anything.

Had thee best experience we just moved here a few months ago and couldn’t find a place that my 4 year old was comfortable at until we found amber. Quick easy and super comfortable(: plus affordable. Would 100% recommend
As a first timer and being nervous about trimming my grown out hair for more than a year, Amber handled it like an absolute professional. From advice on how to treat my longer hair, and talking me through why it behaves certain ways, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Definitely a main stay.
