Cannot say thank you enough to Ms Mary! My son is autistic and it has been a very long time since he has had a haircut from a salon. Someone on the Nextdoor app recommended Making Waves and after we met Mary, I knew she would handle my son perfectly. They hit it off like old friends. He immediately felt so comfortable with her, he listened to her so well which was very new. She handled him so gently and carefully with all of his haircut quirks. Thank you! Thank you!!!!

Mary O'Conmor and her long-time friend Beth are not only unprofessional, they lie, and they're fake. I've known Mary for almost 4 years. She's horrible and she stole from me. She's a pot head and a terrible person. FIND ANOTHER STYLIST.

i was having my hair done from who I thought was a good hairdresser until she done a horrible color on my hair and refused to rectify the problem which I had no choice but to find someone else. I began looking for another stylist and because of the COVID-19 restrictions I found out some of the hair salons were not accepting new clients or they were backed up for weeks to months and with my hair being in the shape it was in I had to get in with someone immediately so I called Making Waves and spoke to the owner Mary O'Connor and she asked me to come in so she could look at my hair so I wen to the salon in which she referred me to a woman named "Beth" and gave me her number so I contacted her and she told me Mary had already told her about my situation and booked me an appointment immediately thereafter. I started seeing "Beth" last summer and she seemed alright at first then the more I started seeing her as a stylist I knew something was "OFF" about her but because of the Covid-19 issue I continued to see her. I began noticing "Beth" was becoming more loud,rude,opinionated and obnoxious when I continued to see her. A couple of days ago I texted her to make an appointment to get my hair done and she waited for over four and a half hours to text me back which I found inconsiderate and rude and I responded to her text and told her to please show some courtesy and not have me wait for hours for her response! Well "Beth" responded to me in a text message and began calling me names which was uncalled for because I've been nothing but polite and kind to her! "Beth" called me loud rude and went as far as calling me an obnoxious B***H and then threatened me with a lawsuit! But before "Beth" began calling me names she told me she didn't want me as a customer anymore which is fine by me because she doing me a favor! I'm upset by "Beth's" behavior towards me and I'm also upset that the owner Mary O'Connor referred me to this unstable woman which I believe she knew what she was because "Beth" said she's known the owner for over 20 years! Well I found out "Beth" is not her name it's Kay Butler! I eventually blocked Kay since I now know her real name because she was continuing to text me so I put a stop to it! I feel anyone who is considering going to this salon will read my review! Beware! The owner is referring customers to Kay Butler who calls herself "Beth" even though it's not her real name! I wouldn't wish my experience on anyone! I recommend anyone to go to another salon!

Amber provides a custom artistic experience. She listens to your preferences, and puts her artistic spin on the designs. I have loved every set of nails she has done. Today was spa pedicure day.... I was in heaven!!

Had a spa pedicure today with Amber, she did amazing! It was the type of pedicure you want. She cleans under your nails, massages your feet, and makes them feel amazing. Definitely one of the best pedicures I’ve ever had. All her products are high end and great quality. The tools she used were either new or you could tell they had been sterilized in an autoclave, not just put in a pack to look like they had be sterilized. The conversation was great and easy. I was very comfortable as soon as I walked in, where as other places I always felt like I was just another set of feet. I would highly recommend Amber and have already booked to future appointments with her.

Amber was amazing I had not had acrylic nails in many years and taking a photo with me of what I wanted and she did exactly what I wanted by hand I got many compliments in everybody that saw my nails including my husband thought it was a decal when in fact it was not thank you so very much Amber I'm looking so very forward to seeing you in December and I can't wait till a pedicure . the prices were great and she explained the difference between acrylic and gel in told me which would be the best for me .
