Naples Award Winning Fiber Artist Leigh Herndon, dyes silk Japanese batik (rozome) paintings, Leigh’s award-winning works have been exhibited in numerous juried national & international shows as well as the Smithsonian and her work is in several private collections. Recently 6 of her paintings were selected for the international TV series Criminal Minds. Leigh also creates hand dyes silk batik, shibori, scarves and kimonos. She teaches year round batik & shibori art classes in her studio at 5450C Shirley St. Naples. Leigh's "LeighArtWear™" artist signed wearable art brand of MADE-TO-ORDER boutique fashions & activewear are all designed from her original dyed silk Japanese batik paintings & part of the slow fashion sustainable movement.
