I needed to write this to let others know how thorough, professional and knowledgeable is optometrist Dr. Jerry Beauchamp. I ended up here because the optometrist I have visited in the past, did not accept my new vision insurance, FEPBlueVision. My brother, who is a physician nearby recommended I visit Dr. Beauchamp. I’m glad I did. I was impressed by the amount of time he took to examine my vision and eyes. My previous annual examinations usually lasted 15 or 20 minutes and I was done. Dr. Beauchamp conducted a number of tests and was thorough and professional. In the end, he suggested I change from wearing a contact on the right eye, to switching the contact lense to the left eye with a much lower intensity. I feel great. Dr. Beauchamp was so careful and thorough that he completely changed the way I wear contacts and eye glasses. Thanks to Dr. Beauchamp, I now wear one contact on my left eye at a much lower intensity. He also identified a slight sitgmatism that had never been identified and the beginning of cataracts that are normal for a person my age. He also has referred me to an opthomologist for an additional test he considered useful. I ended up using my FEPBlueVision insurance to order a pair of glasses and may also begin using contacts as he has suggested. The test contact lense he provided me is working much better than what I used to wear. I informed my physician brother of how impressed I was with Dr. Beauchamp and urged he refer his own patients to Dr. Beauchamp at Sunset Eyes OPTICAL near the intersection of Sunset Drive and 107th Avenue, adjacent to the Navarro Pharmacy and Burger King.
