Needed a new copy of my title to sell my car and went to this location on a FriYAY morning. I was very happy with my experience here!! I was in and out in under an hour with my freshly minted duplicate title on the spot. The best part was the service I received by MICHELLE. She was absolutely amazing to work with -- efficient, friendly, professional and very helpful!! Totally brightened my morning! Paid Parking garage is adjacent to the office which made it even better!
Honestly surprised at how easy to make an appointment and go in the same day to apply for a tax exemption issue. I got there and was seen immediately and the person who helped me quickly resolved issue and was very knowledgeable and friendly. Definitely not like other government offices! I'll see if my exemption was applied next year, but I got a dated, stamped, and signed receipt (and turned all my paperwork in time, I believe it was before March 1). The only downside is the location doesn't provide any parking (middle of downtown Miami), but it's adjacent to the metro and a lot of other public transit options. It's in a big government building with many other offices, you have to go through security to enter, but it's easy to find once inside the building. Also, property office isn't good at responding to emails in a timely manner or calling back (their website has a lot of different forms that are a bit confusing as to what you need to fill out), it's best to go in person to clarify instead of mailing documents (and for many things, they require you go in person) so the people there can check that you submitted all the correct paperwork and give you proof that you submitted everything in time (as mentioned above).
