Rob Murdocco at Impact Rehab changed the quality of my life. I suffered from head and neck pain for nearly 10 years and visited doctors, headache and pain specialists, chiropractors, acupuncturists, and even surgeons throughout New York and traveled to DC and Boston, as well. None of them could find a solution. After years of failed attempts to deal with the problems, I finally sought out Rob at Impact Rehab. While I live in New York, I was on vacation and made an appointment. Rob was extremely kind and generous with his time, and spoke to me at length to understand the nature of my pain. Rob's questions were not "standard" cookie-cutter pain management interview questions - it was clear that he wanted to fully understand my pain experience so that he could best understand and devise a strategy for dealing with it. Rob at no time sought to manage my pain - he felt that he could find the underlying causes and work in a number of ways to relieve the symptoms and also root out the causes and eliminate pain in the future. In spite of my skepticism as to the likelihood of success after all these years, Rob demonstrated that he was truly a healer. He helped me to understand the anatomy that was involved and all that I could do on my own to reduce the causes of my pain - and also worked on me gently to bring what amounted to relief the very next day. I now visit Rob whenever I can all the way from New York. In my entire life I have never met someone more passionate or responsible about their craft - and I can never thank Rob & Impact Rehab enough for literally changing the quality of my life after years of misery.
