I got Jim's name for neighbors who had been very pleased with his knowledge and service. I have an older Dell Windows 7 laptop which I use to run some engineering software and mobile data collector downloads that Windows 10 and up will not run. It's used mainly when traveling and doing out of town work. Long story much shorter - it was running badly and very slow to boot up. Jim diagnosed a bad mechanical hard drive and installed a new solid state hard drive with much more storage. This computer now runs faster and better than my new up to date computers. I live in Merritt Island and recently had computer trouble. I called several repair shops in the area and was frustrated bc I was told each time I couldn't speak to a tech, I would just have to bring in my unit, drop it off for up to a week, and they'd call me back when they'd seen it. Plus there would be a 'bench fee'. wtf? Then I got lucky and found Seaside. They were able to see me quickly, I was able to speak directly w their head tech, they diagnosed the problem quickly, and I was up and running. If you have computer trouble I highly recommend you call these guys first. You"ll be glad you did.Brett Clark
