Cut and style was comparable to what you'd get at a Supercuts. Made the appointment online and never got any confirmation about the appointment. Don't expect anyone to pickup the phone if you call. I did finally receive a phone call because they had a cancellation and was asked to come in earlier. My hair was left pretty frizzy. Not terrible but definitely not great. I won't be back.

So let me first say my review is based on my last service. I was not impressed. The stylist was risk adverse, meaning she trimmed when I asked for a cut. She clearly did not have a great deal of experience with very thick straight hair. I have had good cuts in previous visits. Make sure you have an appointment with the manager or other senior stylist

The salon is generally not very busy these days. The hairdressers work parttime mostly, leave early if no clients \\u0026 never return messages. Don't count on a real, live person to answer phone. Walk ins are not advised. It might be closed if you drop by. I do love the services I get at J.C.Penny. My favorite lady cuts my long hair perfectly. Prices are fair \\u0026 you can use their store coupons/sales. It's very casual so if you don't like alot of talk \\u0026 opinions between the customers and stylists being shared then skip it. Summed up: If you can actually get an appt. that is convenient then great. They do nice work so no worries there ..
