After the expierence we received today while being admitted, I would not recommend this facility. After spending 2 1/2 weeks at the trauma center, my spouse was released from the hospital and transferred to Sea Pines for inpatient rehab and OT. We arrived at about 3:00pm. The on duty nurse came to do the admission paperwork. The pharmacist came in and verified what medications were needed. Thinking things were all set, I left to take care of things at home at about 5:00. At 8:00 this evening, my spouse called me and found out. * No one had come to check on things since I had left. * No medication had been administered. * We informed the nurse that the bandages on the injured foot need to be checked and changed once per day and that it had not been done yet. (It still hadn't been done). * Needing to use the restroom, No one was responding to the beside call button. I called the front desk to complain. I was told that medication couldn't be administered because the doctor hadn't approved anything yet -- No excuse, the pharamcist came in at about 3:30 and it's now been 4 1/2 hours. The result of the call was to send a supervisor to the room and get things taken care of. While talking to my spouse, and relaying what I had done, the supervisor came in along with several staff members with profuse apologies and not understandig how this could have happened. I called my insurance provider and explained the situation and to see if there were any other alternatives rehab centers and was given 2 possibilities and a suggestion I call the referring hospital to for help in possibly setting up a transfer to somewhere else. We have decided to give it until Thursday afternoon (Today is Tuesday) to see if conditions improve before deciding if we are going to request a transfer. As a minimum, I will be calling the hospital to talk to whoever did the recommendation and set up this admission to let them know that their 'preferred' partner really dropped the ball.

Please is ok, my father got in very bad car accident, and after getting discharged from Orlando Health, he was sent here to the Rehabilitation Center, which he only spent one night there because it was that uncomfortable. Before I set up my dad with home health care he was here for one night and very uncomfortable. Do you have to share a room there's no separate rooms no matter what you have to share a shower you have to share closet with somebody that you don't even know if I would've known that everything was shared like that I wouldn't have had my dad stay there for that one day! If you plan to stay there, just make sure that you do the tour and feel comfortable with the setting. The manager said that they are going to redo everything to have separate rooms for the patients which is awesome, so I guess just stay tune for the new development.

Rehab was very good, hard but good. Staff for the most part was very good. Food was terrible and mostly inedible.

My family was very pleased with this rehab center. My mom went there after being released from the hospital. She had to learn to remember things, speak and walk again. They did wonders with her and she got great care. She even put some weight on her 80 lb body. She looked really good and was doing great there.

My mom was a patient here on two different occasions. I believe that Sea Pines is the best rehab in the county. They push the patient to make the required progress and are most professional and kind. Mom really liked the food too.

My mother was here for back rehabilitation. Everyone was extremely nice. She felt very comfortable and her needs was taken care of. They even have guest wifi. The establishment is very clean and seems to be well staffed.
