Went there for severe pain in my abdomen, back and under my chest plate. I could barely stand. I was waiting for about a half hour before being taken to the consult room and the lady didn't even ask for my history. While waiting, a woman came in with obvious severe pain and it was clear she needed help immediately. But like the rest of us, she didn't get it. Not until she collapsed and began seizing. The doctors or nurses who tended to her, in front of all of us, were cold to her. Speaking to her in stern, bossy, tones. A great hospital to go to have your medical needs met. Clinically outstanding. But the staff also shows a real compassion for their patients. A quick overnight procedure ended up being a day or two more but it was worth it knowing that I wasn't being moved just to save a bed, they are very good there. Dietary was good. You don't hear that very often but it's true.
My husband and I adopted a newborn baby who had a NICU stay here, and our experience was wonderful. The staff were caring and supportive, and we could tell they were rooting for us and our son. Our story seemed to spread through the hospital, and after a few days everyone seemed to know who we were. Wonderful, supportive experience.
