Recently had MRI done at Gateway & it couldnt have been less stressful with the patient, kind, & professional treatment from all there & involved with me. From double checking my answers to confirm I had no metal on/in me— to the techs who made me comfortable with music, a pillow & a nice blanket.. I felt totally cared about & well taken care of—and would not go anywhere else in the future! KUDOS to you all, thank y’all & God Bless! 👍🙏

I have never been so poorly treated. I will not stop till this agency is under investigation by the American medical association. I'm going all the way to the top. I will not stop until they are held accountable for the unprofessional medical treatment that I received. I will go to the chief of staff and I will go to the board of directors and I won't stop there. The most incompetent office staff I've ever encountered.

I'm claustrophobic so getting an MRI is a challenge. This location, they have a very large machine available so I was able to tolerate being inside it for the scan. I believe other MRIs are there also, so you need to request the large one.(The photo attached is not that facility but a similar shape - it doesn't squeeze your elbows, so if you close your eyes it's manageable)

Thanks for sending my lab work over to my doctor .... Literally had to drive back to your office and get a copy!!!! Never again will I get blood work there....

As a patient of Health 1st, I found the family practice department in Palm Bay, not too bad, however if you are dealing with something more serious, You will be better cared for elsewhere, When they start referring you to other doctors within their organization, it gives you the impression you are being sold a used car, honestly it seams to be all about the money, for example, after seeing 3 different doctors, none has ever called, text, e mailed, as to your condition after providing services and prescribing medication, Now as to collecting payment, they are definitely on top of that, usually, you will get mail, txts, e mails etc, and usually within a week of services. In Summary, if it is a possible serious situation, In my opinion, you would be better off elsewhere.

If you have the appointment for Labs they'll move you right along. I definitely recommend you make the appointment for LabWork. You don't want to get stuck behind an elderly community busload... Staff is usually on time for appointments without excessive wait times for us. GP (ARNP) and the team that oversees my care is excellent. Ask questions and engage staff to assure the best care.

I moved to Palmbay a year and a half ago. Live right down the road from the health first office , thought it would be easy. Nothing is easy with health first asked to see a doctor and got a PA which was fine. She was excellent. That's where excellent stops. The people behind the counter were not helpful or peaceful to talk to, my last appointment I sat for an hour and a half and no one said anything about them being late. When I asked, they told me they were missing people so my PA had to take their work. I missed two hours of work that day for a simple follow up appointment, if you call them you wait on hold for up to an hour and most of the time they can't answer any questions. It is a Dr. mill that puts people volume ahead of peoples care. I strongly recommend trying to find a doctor that is not part of their company, unfortunately they are everywhere. I've changed doctors. Her cost is much much less than Health's first. And I can afford to visit when I need to. They should be called money first.
