I'm claustrophobic so getting an MRI is a challenge. This location, they have a very large machine available so I was able to tolerate being inside it for the scan. I believe other MRIs are there also, so you need to request the large one.(The photo attached is not that facility but a similar shape - it doesn't squeeze your elbows, so if you close your eyes it's manageable)

If you have the appointment for Labs they'll move you right along. I definitely recommend you make the appointment for LabWork. You don't want to get stuck behind an elderly community busload... Staff is usually on time for appointments without excessive wait times for us. GP (ARNP) and the team that oversees my care is excellent. Ask questions and engage staff to assure the best care.

When I moved here 2 years ago I was in need of a medical group that I could go to. Through my work I was introduced to Health First at Gateway and I have not been disappointed. The staff are all friendly and welcoming no matter which branch you are going to for care. I enjoy that they have a patient portal that allows you to be able to message your doctor for something simple if you don't want to make an appointment. That being said the portal isn't always the most user friendly but you can tell they are working on some aspects of it. I've been very pleased with my doctors that I have through this medical group and am glad they take my insurance.
