Our son went there for one month and then made another committment to another dojo. I tried to call their number 4 times and got their voicemail, to which I left them a voicemail that we were withdrawing our son. They NEVER returned our call, they don't answer their phone BUT they WILL continue to charge for a service that we aren't using. That's theft. Also during that month we paid for for the uniform that he didn't get at all, although they did give him a belt. We disputed the charges and FAMILY TAEKWANDO knows my son isn't going there and hasn't for the last 3 months but still continue to charge. I hope that this review will get them to return my call. They owe me 3 months of fees they have been charging for. Buyer Beware! I had to leave a one star review because Google will not let you leave less than one star!

I had once gone here and climbed the ranks to brown belt. I was very passionate about the Tae Kwon Do aspect! My advice is to take your child here if they want to be challenged, because they will be! The reason for my departure was because I was not looking to mix any material arts. I wanted a traditional approach. Very fun, relatable and laid back instructions and assistants also awesome atmosphere. Highly recommended!

If you need a fun, wholesome, and God-centric place to learn TKD for yourself or your kids, then this is the place for you! Hannah, Stu and the rest of the staff are simply great with kids! They teach them the importance of respect, patience, discipline and the value of camaraderie while teaching them the practical application of TKD in everyday life. Not to mention it keeps your kiddos fit and active. We love this place, and we appreciate the amazing changes we’ve seen in our son because of Family TKD!

If you’re wanting to get your child into martial arts, this is the place to be. The instructors are amazing, funny, and very good at teaching the kids to have respect and self-control. I have seen my son blossom in the past year and a half that we’ve been here. It’s been so good for him and I see us staying here for years to come.

Family Taekwondo of Melbourne is great place to learn taekwondo, make friends, and learn life skills. I am one of the black belts, and I have been coming here for over 7 years. FTKD offers fun classes full of valuable material. It has classes that are perfect for different age groups. Every time I think about Taekwondo, it brings a smile to my face. I highly recommend Family Taekwondo of Melbourne to any who are interested.

My son started taking classes here 3 months ago. He absolutely loves it. Excellent instructors who know how to be serious and how to have fun. It’s a safe encouraging environment. The leadership cares about the students and invest in their lives. This is a great place to find community, build character, learn discipline, and build confidence. Great job to the staff!

My daughter has been going there for 6 years, we wouldn't have it any other way. The staff over the years has changed but the commitment to excellence hasn't. UPDATE: they still do all this and are still awesome! Nad i added pics 🥋🦵
