Another office in Live Oak simply didn't advise us of a shot that could keep the cat comfortable for the short term but could damage him for the long term so that while she raised the money for the surgery (2 months) we could keep him healthy. They also suggested a smaller scale surgery that has worked out beautifully also allowing her to save a little bit of money. They performed the surgery and the cost was HUNDREDS less than the quoted price. (When has that ever happened in a vet's office?) These are people that make small town life really sing and I hope Mayo knows how blessed they are to have them.“
