I don’t think I’ve left a Google review lower than 4 stars before. For me this is between a 2 and a 3 star review. We had ABS install a power screen door on our two car garage. Bottom line up front, the product has been great but the installation wasn’t. This job was almost $6,000 and took just over 2 months from when the initial appointment took place to get a quote until completion. After paying 50% up front we heard nothing for about 5-6 weeks. We were told it would take 4-6 weeks for the product to come in but any updates along the way would’ve been nice.

As for the install, the crew was nice and professional. However, as seen in pictures attached, they used spacers on the side of the garage, I guess it was necessary but a little caulk here would’ve gone a long way not only to mitigate bugs entering my garage (the point of the screen in the first place) but also just to have a finished look. In the two weeks we’ve had the screen, there have been several spiders nest forming in this area where the spacers are. Second, ABS did say they would pigtail the power cord and plug it into an outlet for the motor. What I didn’t expect was that it would be mounted with tiny nails that pull out of the wall CONSTANTLY. I have had to push these back into the wall a dozen times in only a few weeks. Plus, they took my personal extension cord that I had plugged in for something else in the garage to make the cord long enough to reach the outlet!

I’m not sure if there are other options for this service in the area but $6,000 is a steep price to pay when they end up using your extension cords, mounting the wiring in such a way that is an absolute headache and doesn’t look “finished”, and not filling in gaps that allow bugs in.“
