We have been taking our sweet husky mix named Abby to the Barkery Boarding and Daycare for the last year. Abby does daycare a few days a week. She loves hanging with her friends. She gets so excited when we pull up to the center. We also board Abby there any time we travel. Dave and Maria are such caring people. I never worry about Abby when she is in their care. Truly a 5-star experience and would recommend them for all your daycare/boarding needs.

They always take great care of my two cats and provide video and picture updates. You can tell they love on them and treat them as their own. I also appreciate their reasonable prices and hours.

I am so glad to have found The Barkery for my dog’s daycare and boarding. I have been taking my dog Levi for over 4 years and he gets loving, quality care here. Maria, Dave and all the staff took time to get to know Levi’s personality and energy level. When I tell Levi we are going to The Barkery, he grabs his leash and spins around and around he is so excited! And I love the fact that if you are boarding your dog, they will offer to play him during each day with the other dogs so he’s not just sitting in a pen. They also do so many little extras here like “Dog of the Month” , Birthday photos, treats when he’s leaving at the end of the day, etc. If you are looking for a Doggy daycare or boarding facility, you must try The Barkery!!

After years of boarding our pets at many different places—some of the most expensive in the area—I can honestly say nothing compares to the care we receive from Maria and Dave. We've been bringing our pets to them for years, and we’ve never had a single issue—no bites, no illnesses, nothing.
We just returned from a two-week trip to Greece, and once again, our babies were happy, healthy, and well cared for. I’ll admit, their facility might not look like a high-end pet resort or some bougie place, but let me tell you: I’m the pickiest pet mom on the planet, and I choose to drive out of my way every time to bring my pets here.
Maria is one of the kindest, most genuine people I’ve ever met. Not only does she take excellent care of our animals, but she also sends us daily videos and pictures—every single day and night while we're away—just to give us peace of mind. Most other places don’t offer that kind of communication, and if they do, it usually costs extra.
It’s been years now, and our experience has been nothing but wonderful. We live in Wesley Chapel, and with how expensive pet boarding has become, finding a place that is affordable and truly caring is rare. That’s why I continue to drive the extra distance—it’s worth every mile. The front staff always greets us with a smile, and even our bird Sunny—who normally only trusts me—has grown to love everyone there.
I can’t recommend Maria and Dave enough. They treat our pets like family, and that means the world to us.

We just picked up our boys from an 8 night stay, our first time, and we could not be more impressed! Maria and Dave are awesome people. The communication is top notch, I received pictures and videos everyday (without request), the facility is very clean, and my dogs came home tired and happy! We will absolutely be back.
