Big Dog Ranch is a dog rescue, rehabilitation and adoption facility for dogs (only). Some cats are in residence, but not for adoption. We adopted our dog Lucy from B.D.R. They have areas dogs you want to check out can spend time with you. We looked at several before we adopted. We went back today to support and see the beagles they took in from the Ridglan Company which was a medical research puppy mill treating treating the puppies like rats. With a strong volunteer base, they are domesticated, vaccinating and moving the (many) beagles towards their forever homes. The adoption fees for dogs range from $100 to $600.

What a great place. I had to surrender a relatives dog yesterday. I heard about this place for awhile. The staff is phenomenal and really care about what their doing. I felt good knowing Rocco was in good hands. Great place! Great staff! I did tear up .

I could go on forever about what an amazing rescue BDRR is‼️ I am eternally grateful to them for rescuing the beagles? I am specifically grateful to Stephanie as she is the amazing person responsible for seeing that my adoption went through seamlessly and I am loving on my new baby who Ive named Honey because she is a sweetheart despite having been through so much! She and my Goldendoodle, Lucy, are already besties♥️ Again, thank you BDRR for everything you do for all the animals and the entire facility is top notch as well as the care that goes into the animals (I know because I volunteered several days?)! You ALL are amazing humans‼️?❣️
