We love Hero Academy. This place is amazing. My 7 y/o have been here for a couple of months and loves it. The clases are super fun, instructive and very active, keeping the kids motivated and never bored. Sensei Michael and his staff are wonderful. His pasion, patience and knowledge makes this place the best around.

My grandson is on the spectrum and has ADHD. We’ve tried a few different martial arts studios. This was the first studio who met him where he was at and appropriately redirected, engaged, and taught him. The instructor had great patience with him. We are happy to be a part of Hero Family Community. Looking forward to seeing his growth.

We love Hero Academy! Our son started martial arts with Sensei Michael in 2020. With the influence of Sensei and his team, he has grown into a confident, kind and responsible young man. Hero has not only given him the opportunity to learn the art of karate and self defense, but he is also learning how to lead other students to see and reach their own potential!

We absolutely love Hero Karate. My daughter has been going there for almost a year, and the growth we’ve seen has been incredible. She has ADHD, and karate has helped her in so many ways beyond just physical activity and “getting energy out.” The lessons they teach truly carry over into real life.
One of the biggest things she learned recently was being proactive. Every morning now she gets herself dressed and proudly says, “I’m being proactive!” As a parent, seeing a five-year-old apply those lessons at home is amazing.
Another moment that really touched me was when she came to me and honestly admitted things she had been hiding behind my back. She literally just turned five, so this was a huge step emotionally and maturity-wise. Around the same time, Sensei Michael had been talking in class about honesty and not being scared to tell the truth. It really clicked for her.
Sensei Michael genuinely cares about helping children grow into confident, respectful, honest, and responsible little humans - not just teaching karate moves. The positive impact Hero Karate has had on our home and family has been life-changing, and I cannot recommend them enough.
