The nursing staff we encountered is outstanding they are caring especially our favorite CNA Evelyn she's super sweet and cheerful. I was visiting my boyfriend and they treated him well. I got annoyed with the doctors asking questions and wouldn't pay attention to me answering them but I remember I'm not the patient he has to answer. The staff the first night wasn't as cuddly but I know my boyfriend isn't and easy patient. I still appreciate them they didn't do anything I wouldn't. As for the security men one older man told us we had to leave he was not very nice but also not super mean. The security demon we had an interact with needs to be jobless. Working in a hospital is not the place for him the attitude was not necessary I want clarification on visiting hours we were told 3 different things I just wanted to know so if my guy stays here another night I know by when I have to leave. David is a hot head that let his job power get to his head. I completely know you have a job to do I also work in health care some people are plain jerks. You don't know who is who until you interact with them always approach someone pleasant and respectful before you treat them like rift raft. I part for his angry sole. Nursing staff great though.

I'm in the minority here, but was quite pleased with the service in ER. The staff and Doctor there were Polite, Personable and concerned with my condition. They were even compassionate enough to offer me a heated blanket! I came in to the ER at/or around 1:45-2:00am on 12/22/23, with excrutiating rt shoulder pain, which effected the nerves all the way down my arm to my hands. I hadn't slept for OVER 5 days, ended me cussing a storm, punching and elbowing walls, due to this ailment. The pain was so excrutiating, that I contacted the VA crisis hotline! NO JOKE! I was REALLY PISSED OFF! At first, I was hesitant to go at this facility, due to it's reputation and horrid write ups. Was I wrong and stupid for not doing coming here when this started to occur. TRUE...there are other hospitals, but are to far and who wants to deal with the crazies and drunks at this hour? I know that others disagree with my assessment of this hospital, as their conditions for their visitation might seem a nightmare, but as impatient as we are today, you can't expect expedient service in the early hours, nor expect 'miracles' to occur when you go to the ER. There is a limited staff and Doctors are NOT "Specialists" in all ailments. Their goal is to patch you up as best as they can, eleviate the pain as best they can and refer you to a specialist for continued treatment/pain mgmt....not cure you of all conditions. My issue is minimal compared to the others here, but I couldn't be more pleased with the results. YES...I TOO had to wait for 2+ hrs, but it was well worth it. I also realize that there are other people that the staff and Drs. had to care for. I was also understanding that my condition was not rated as important as compared to others with more severe problems. Maybe that's what impatient, self entitled people should think of when walking into an ER, regardless where you're located. Even though your condition may seem serious to YOU, try being a little more compassionate for others, as their conditions are LIFE THREATENING. Think about that, as one day it could be YOU or a loved one being transported by ambulance! QUESTION: Should... hospital staff care for first come/first serve w/out a non life threatening condition... OR put you on hold when a life threatening patient is wheeled in? Your answer will show what sort of person you are. IMO...Early this morning, I walked into Lehigh Regional feeling like I was a 90 yo, leaving feeling slightly better and after a decent sleep (which I desperately needed), woke up feeling like I was back in my 50's! My pain ALL OVER, was GONE! Back, hips, shoulders, etc.. THANK YOU Lehigh Regional for your compassionate care!

This hospital is trash. They dont introduce themselves or wear gloves to draw blood. They are rude and don't explain the process of what they're doing. You leave worse than when you started. Terrible service, even worse staff.

This is the worst hospital on the face of the earth. I had heard horror stories about it before being taken there by ambulance for severe abdominal pain. I waited 2 hours to be seen by a doctor and to be given pain medication because they were going through a shift change. Instead of being apologetic or compassionate, the head nurse, Angela Rinehart, began yelling at me to sit down on the hospital bed after I explained to her that the pain was excruciating in that position and it was better to stand by the bed. She actually called security after threatening to have me escorted off the property for not sitting down. Never go to this place. She also said she was not going to tell me when a doctor would be available just because I felt I should be attended to. At no point did I raise my voice to her to provoke this type of aggression. Angela Rinehart is a disgrace to the nursing profession.I was finally seen by a doctor after 2 hours, and they ran tests and found out there was a legitimate medical issue. I was given pain meds. Thankfully, Angela Rinehart's shift had ended. Her presence made me feel unsafe in a place where people go to be cared for. Horrible experience; horrible nurse.

My mother was brought here by ambulance after passing out. She had recently been in Lee Memorial for a stroke, which they had no access to or even cared. When I visited her in the ER, I went to use her private bathroom, which I know she hadn't used. There was dried urine on the toilet seat and bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned in days. I also asked the nurse if they were gonna give her meds, she stated that they didn't know what she had been prescribed! After they got her to a room the next day, I went to visit her. Her private bathroom was unusable because of A/C duct falling from the the roof. The next day when I visited her, she told me she had called nurse because she had to pee. The nurse came and put a bed pan under her. when she used call button to let nurse she'd was done, nobody ever showed! She slept all night with bed pan under her! The next day they released her, and when I asked the nurse to help me get her dressed, she said "can't you do it"? I said no, because if she falls, it's not gonna be my fault, it's gonna be yours because y'all are her care takers! We finally left with NO answers, but arrived home with both having Covid! This place needs to be shut down!! They are a danger to anyone who is need of medical assistance! If I could choose a negative zero rating I would. If you love your loved ones, do NOT take them here!!

If I can put zero stars I would! I went to Lehigh Acres for vacation and ended up at this ER 3x's in the same week. Horrible but horrible place. Never again!! First they don't let you stay until your better, they just administer meds and throw you out and make there money that's how it feels at least to me. Than they have some nice Drs some don't even know what they are doing for anything. They poked me 2 times and the second one on the side of my almost elbow because they said my blood clot, really. They gave me so much morphine and contrast dye in the cat scan they did on me that I broke out even worse in pain and hives. It's an er and they didn't check my throat, eyes, ears, and for some one to be with cochlear implants and have to write this review it's nuts. They should of done all this when my main reason for coming in was chest pain and trouble breathing and they didn't even gave me breathing device like they usually do for asthmatic people like me. Last time I step a foot here. They need to man up and not to mention my first er visit they were discharging me and my urine and blood tube was still on desk so I took it and gave it to a nurse. No one deserves to be treated like this. They should close this ER

I don't recommend this hospital to anyone at all!! I brought my husband to the ER because his oxygen level went down due to Covid 19 , I guess they don't have an area for just COVID-19 patients to take their vitals. After they took his vitals the lady that took his vitals said that they don't have available room in the ER so we have to wait outside the hospital which has a lot of patients already waiting, mind you my husband already tested positive for covid. Long story short, waited 4 hours outside the ER parking lot inside my car because it's 96 degrees outside. Went inside the ER every 20 minutes to check and got tired of waiting and left and find another hospital to check in. In the end my husband end up having covid pneumonia and have to be admitted in the hospital. Thank goodness he's better now and thank goodness he didn't end up staying in this hospital, God knows what would have happened. Worst ER/ hospital visit!!
