This place is great the staff very friendly very professional and they do great work owner lady Amanda is amazing she will go out her way to make sure the client is happy with their new look iv never met a hair stylist so dedicated to making her clients truly happy she is amazing definitely recommend for you to drop ur stylist and come to this place 10/10

If you have any doubt or worry about coming to this salon with curly textured hair, stop what you are doing and RUN not walk to this Salon. I had the pleasure of booking with Julia after seeing very positive reviews and I was not dissapointed. I have had terrible experiences in the past where I am shamed almost for my thick wavy red hair and have always been told it was very damaged. Julia took one look and reassured me that was not the case. I have never had any person bring out my natural curls in my entire 25 years and she did it with complete ease. I was BLOWN AWAY by the results as I couldn't believe the beautiful curls she produced without a curling iron. She was kind and very pleasant to work with. Answering my many questions and even taking me through start to finish on how to style my hair. My hair has never looked better I wanted to cry because of how I am over the moon with the results. She Is the best!!! Definitely will be coming back!!

Amanda is very unprofessional and double books. I had an appointment at 1:30 pm. I get there at 1:15 someone still in chair come back at 1:25, 1:30, and 1:35 pm person still in chair when my appointment is suppose to start. I decided I dont want Unprofessional hands in my head, so I picked my bag up left and gave her a call telling her it's okay, I am good. Tired of Black salons not accommodating people with long natural hair, the jealousy is real. Sorry I didn't have to lock my hair for it to grow!

DO NOT SLEEP ON THIS SALON! BEST HAIRCUT OF MY L I F E! I've been going to generic hair cut places all my life and finally decided i was done hating my hair every time it was cut, so I went to Amanda at Positive Beauty after seeing a coworker's hair (which was amazing!) I've never been in love with my hair until today. I'm so sad that I've spent years not knowing I could look this good. Amanda was my stylist and she was sweet, funny, and very understanding of my concerns and seemed to actually listen to my requests. She even gave me tips on how to style my hair the way she did so I could try myself. And the price? So cheap compared to literally any other salon I've looked into. I will be coming back here for every cut/style/etc from here on out. I highly suggest you do the same! ♡

I went in and had a color and highlight from Amanda and needless to say I will be a customer for life. She did an amazing job and I've had so many compliments as soon as I left the salon.

I always come here to get my haircut a very specific way, and I am met with complete satisfaction! It is EXACTLY what I ask for and Julia is so professional and warm. When she washes my hair it is the best most relaxing part of my day 😌! Thanks for a wonderful experience!
