Mid-Florida Primary Care is a medical facility that offers wellness exams and other healthcare services. The staff, including nurse practitioner Jewell, are friendly and welcoming. Some patients have had positive experiences, praising the excellent service and patience of the doctor and staff. However, others have experienced billing issues and felt that they were not fully informed about the costs of their services. The office has been known to make an effort to resolve customer concerns, and in some cases, has provided refunds or assistance in finding alternative care providers. Despite some mixed experiences, many patients appreciate the care and attention they receive at Mid-Florida Primary Care.
We are new to the area, looked for a new Doctor for quite a while. Thought we finally found one here. First had to have a consultation with too many questions. Met with Jewell, nurse practitioner. She was very nice. After that we wanted to have our Wellness Exam. We do this yearly. We had to go off site for blood work. Went for our results and Wellness exam in June. According to our Insurance carrier, there is to be no charge for this. We both were charged. Found out now that we are charged to discuss blood work results, medication issues and just about everything else. I love my girls. They always greet me with love and positivity. I love them and the dr gives excellent service. They listen and they're patience. I wouldn't change them for Noth in the world.
I was a bit frustrated from filling out all the new patient paperwork only to find out that my particular insurance was not accepted at their office. However, the office manager, Carol, helped with looking for other recommended physicians who do take my insurance, so I could quickly get a new patient appt. close to home. I appreciate the extra effort in customer care they gave, even though I would not be going there.
