Had my hot water tank replaced a few years ago & noticed the water was not remaining hot after a bit in the shower. Called for maintenance and RYAN came to look at my tank. RYAN was wonderful. He listened to my problem, took the time to look at my tank, explained the situation and left offering any future help should the issue re-occur.Someone like RYAN makes me want to recommend Charlie Swain.Thank you RYAN!

The plumber that came to the house was nice but to pay $100 for nothing to be fixed nor rectified is kinda a joke. Wish there was better compensation when most establishments know it’s difficult enough solving a plumbing issue. Probably wouldn’t recommend this group again.Service: Faucet repair

They came out to assess our property and determine if a gas line could be run from our gas dryer to a gas stove (our electric stove broke and we were interested in switching to gas). They came out and assessed the property and then never followed up.I have called them probably 5-10 times since they initially came out weeks ago. Someone always answers the phone and then promptly transfers me to a number where I am unable to leave a voicemail (mailbox is full). No one followed up, returned any of my phone calls, or did their job whatsoever.Clearly they don't know how to run a business if they can't even call a customer back with an initial quote. Don't use them if you actually want work done in a timely, professional manner.

If I could give them 10 stars I would!!!! Ryan has been to my house twice now for different things. He was very professional and actually saved me allot of money by just simply being honest!!! VERY hard to find contractors like this!!!! I HIGHLY recommend him. I am in the roofing business and we refer them ALL the time!!!! Kudos to RYan and the office staff at Chairlie swain!!! You all are awesome!!!!!

Charlie Swain plumbing was recommended by my condo association manager, however, it has been more than a month after a Charlie Swain plumbing estimate was performed for some plumbing for a kitchen remodel, and after multiple calls to their office, I still do not have the estimate. I will call on another plumbing contractor and recommend that they be removed as a recommended contractor list at our condo association. There is no excuse for non-responsive service like this. One star, buyer beware!

I was informed that despite my previous business (and leaving 5 stars reviews) a plumber would not be able to visit my house for three weeks for this simple task...unless I paid for after-hours. I was willing to do this, it was $144/hr, and $72 per half hour after that. He showed up that evening and did the work, and it took about 30 minutes. He was perfectly nice, and did the work properly. I was aware I would be paying for the whole hour, no problem. I go to sign the bill, and it's for two hours, and a total of $317. Why does it say two hours I asked? Oh, travel time. I was never informed of travel time, and I have no way to verify the time spent traveling either. As a cherry on top, a $7 fuel charge, which was never mentioned in advance either. I don't appreciate being ripped off, and I would have called around if I had known they were going to scam me.

I see 2 Charlie Swain's on Yelp, so I am pasting the same review here... I was skeptical to use Charlie Swain because I saw bad reviews online, but I guess you can't always trust reviews because our experience was perfect. They were the second company I called, the first took advantage of us on the first call (didn't call back of course). We had an internal leak/electric problem with a 4 year old A.O. Smith water heater. I called the manufacturer myself to try and get a refund (also easy to work with). They gave me a return number and the folks at Charlie Swain worked with their distributor to get me a new one and take out the old one. So I only paid Charlie Swain for the labor. Leo is an amazing technician and the person that answered the phone was very helpful (forgot her name). Prices were reasonable and the work was done very well. Highly recommend.
