So sad to hear about Dr shewmaker passing. He was our regular vet, we will miss him. Does anyone know if this place will close permanently or if there will be a new vet available at this location. I want to know before I start looking for another vet.

Went to pick up some heartworm medicine for my doggie and there's a note on the door stating that they are closed. Not sure for how long but I hope that they re-open soon. I really like this veterinarian.

Dr Shewmaker & his staff are very accommodating. I had just been released from rehab for a broken knee & I had to take my little 10 yr old MinPin wannabe Riki in for vaccs & labored shallow breathing. The receptionist came to my vehicle & took the little guy inside as I was unable to walk without assistance. Then Dr Shewmaker came out and told me what he had done & showed me an x-ray of my baby's enlarged heart, went & got meds for me to give him & the receptionist brought him back to me. Unfortunately my baby boy passed away that night. Thank you for your help & patience.I also appreciate that Dr Shewmaker makes house calls for small pets. I just wish that he worked...read full review
