Amazing local business, they have a bunch of beautiful instruments, great prices. I bought a used banjo, and got to watch as the shops expert luthier set it up for me. Gave me a great deal on it as well.

I was coming out of Vocational Rehabilitation place because I have a disability and I saw Lewis Music Store. I thought I’d go in just to have a look, I used to play the ukulele but only had a few lessons as a child but now that I can I wanted to try to teach myself. But it’s been harder than I thought. The gentleman came up to me and started talking to me and about the music teacher there and if I had any questions or would like some help. He was telling me about the music teachers experience and that he can’t stand to hear an untuned string. Brought in my 18 year old electric to see if they could help with the setup. I got it secondhand ages ago, and the action has always been in pretty rough shape - I think the truss rod was pretty out of whack because the whole neck vibrated in a weird way when I hit certain frequencies. Paul took a quick look and got right to work on it while I chatted and played some of the guitars with the other shopkeeper. When he brought my guitar back to me, it was clear that Paul knew exactly what he was doing. It’s honestly never felt this good to hold or play since I got it.
