    I don’t usually write bad reviews — but I had to say something about this service. I booked my appointment 3 weeks in advance. (Ashley) was late and had to pick up my hair. I had no problem with that, because she texted me and explained why she was late. She washed, conditioned and blow dried my hair - which was supposed to be free (on the website) but I was charged $20. Still not a big issue. She was done in about 3 1/2 hours which was great. What I did have a problem with is that in less than a week, my back braids slipped out (all of them)They were not even tight (I’ve had braids plenty of times - even with short hair, and this has never happened before). I was attending a big event where I was wearing an updo. Fortunately, I had a friend who fixed it for me and made it more secure, allowing me to wear the style that I originally got the braids for. Also, in less than 2 weeks you could see where my natural hair ended—it was not even blended within the braids. For me to try a new spot AND pay more than $400 for this service and I know they won’t even last a month is very disappointing. I am truly not satisfied and won’t be returning or recommending this business to anybody else.

    This was my first time here, and the experience was great. The atmosphere felt very welcoming—almost like being at a friend’s house. The room was nicely decorated, which added to the overall comfort of the visit. My braider was very professional, and I was really happy with how my braids turned out. Prices are a little on the higher side, but the quality of the work makes it worth it.

    Luv does an amazing job with braiding but there can be improvements in other areas she rescheduled twice the day I come in after being told to come at the same time she has someone else in the chair 30 mins have went by why tell me to come at the same time knowing someone else is ahead and you’re not even done with them when I made an appointment my time is important I have to work and my daughter have class we can’t just. Come and sit there because she’s not done with a previous client it’s the reason for booking an appointment for a specific time stylist need to honor people time more.

    If your reading this review to see if you should book or not , go ahead and book that appointment sis , YOU WONT REGRET IT ❤️ Love is absolutely the best , i found her through instagram seen her work and was like oh yea im booking her braids were perfect for me not to book , She is amazing at what she dose , great personality, very professional , her salon is also absolutely beautiful. 😍 this here is the NUMBER ONE BRAIDING SALON IN ORLANDO FL HONEY oh let’s not forget amazing prices to and hair is included with your services. I will definitely be returning.

    Absolutely love House of Braids I went for a loc retwist and style w/ LuvB and she was very welcoming and she works fast and my hair looks amazing her partner Ash was just as welcoming they both are cool as hell lol I recommend anyone and everyone in need of a neat tight style by a dope stylist call and make your appt !

    Unfortunately, my experience with “House of Braids” was not a good one. I’m new to the area and several of my clients referred me to “House of Braids.” I followed them on instagram and was impressed with their work. However, communication with Luv was horrible. She rarely communicated information well and I had to wait days for a response. In the beginning I was patient because I know how busy braiders can be.

    However, on the day of she asked if I could come early to my appointment. I agreed, however, based on traffic and the distance from where I was leaving from I was going to be 15-20 minutes late. Trying to be respectful of her time I said I understood if I need to reschedule, but she replied so late I continued to drive to her. I arrived and she would not pick up the phone. She would only text me. I explained I was there but was a bit lost and the communication became confusing and unprofessional. Reality is she appeared to have made plans and didn’t communicate well. I am a highly flexible and respectable person. However, communication is number one importance to me. Overall, Luv appears to have unprofessional and poor communication skills. I originally booked 4 hair appointments with her for my daughters and myself. I paid the $20 deposit. Of course I lost that money even though I canceled the other 3 during the expected time stated on their website. When I think back the ladies recommended Ashley and that’s probably who I should have reached out to from the beginning.
