I was trying to help a self identified homeless veteran of the Afghanistan war and the review that i read about this place being difficult to get a hold of my phone is true, also it took a long time just to get the information of a social worker and the numbers were rattled off very quickly, not slowly enough for me to write them down, and then they were not repeated a frustrating system we can do better than this for our veterans

A heartfelt thank you to Stacy and Kelly for their exceptional assistance and dedication. I also appreciate Dr. MLKVY, Dr. Hatch, and Sheryl, RN for their outstanding care and commitment to our Veterans. Your hard work does not go unnoticed!

Called for urgent mental health care and the woman that answered the mental health line was the most insulting, condescending, and unprofessional person I have ever dealt with.

The staff, nurse and doctors here have been so accommodating and helpful. I’ve had minimal wait times (5-10 minutes) even when I show up early. They respond to the VA messaging app and are very friendly.

This has to be the worst, unhelpful VA Medical facility I have ever been to. They told me at least 6 times they could not help me. Not once did they say they could help. Told me I would have to drive to Miami to get blood drawn. There was not one patient there, just me and 4 employees. They acted as if I ruined their day by showing up. This is the service I get for 20 years service.

This clinic is the third VA facility I have used. My experience at this location has always been excellent. The staff is always helpful ,especially Dr.Mlkzy ,who I would rate at the top of all primary care physicians. We are lucky to have this clinic.

They will not let me thru the guard gate because I have an older VA identification card. I can't get in to get a new card with my old card. Need new card to get in. Its a catch 22.

I Ran out of eliquis so i asked the Key West VA clinic to assist me in getting a small supply to get me home. There response was no you have to see your primary. I said there is a 30 day prescription in the system. They still refused to help me. I then called the VA hospital in Miami they also said see your primary. What is wrong with these people. As a traveling veteran I'm shocked

I am a 100% disabled veteran. While on vacation in Key West my knee became swollen to the point I could not sleep or walk (only hobble). At 8 am I arrived at the VA outpatient clinic. Upon entering a gentleman ask how can I help you. I informed him I would like to see a Dr. about my knee condition. He asked my last name and last four. He appeared to pull up my information on the computer. Afterwards he informed me that the Dr that provided for walk-ins transferred to Miami so they had no one to see me. Asked if I had Tri-card and informed me that I should go to Advanced Emergency Care in Key West and use my insurance. 6/12/2019
