great program! Our girls started when they were first graders and advanced to the higher belt level . The program was a great way to keep them fit though the hot summer season and has a very workable schedule during the school year. Advancement is always fun and challenging and its been quite safe. Some kids start in their preteens.
Our daughter has been with Team Nogueira Bloise Academy for the past 8 years, and it has been an incredible experience watching her grow through this program. We highly recommend it to any family looking for a martial arts program for their child or teen.
Master Wald, Coach Bruna, and all of the coaches are truly amazing. The packet we received on day one includes the slogan, “Learn to Defend Yourself.” While many people may think this simply refers to self-defense in a physical sense, which it absolutely does, we’ve come to realize over the years that it carries a much deeper meaning.
