“I began my explant journey almost 5 years ago. I had done my research and knew that Dr. Rankin would be my surgeon. I scheduled my surgery and had almost a year wait until my date, then…Covid and the world went crazy. I canceled my surgery (in hindsight I wish I hadn’t). They happily refunded my deposit without issue. Then by the time I got around to scheduling again, I had to wait a year and a half. At first I was discouraged, but then I realized that only confirmed I had chosen the right doctor because his expertise was obviously in high demand! Women from all over were coming for help with their explant and BII journey and we were all willing to wait because we knew he was the best! From my first interaction with his staff, they were professional, friendly, attentive and on top of keeping me posted on what needed to be done prior.
