The cost can’t be beat by a regular vet’s office, and the technicians & veterinarian were extremely professional, kind, and treated my pets with care. There are no frills, but no upselling of the low quality, overpriced, products like Royal Canine normally lining the walls. They clearly explained the vaccinations and which were most important, and even suggested a lower cost flea medication citing it to be just as effective; when I mentioned concern over cost. So far so good, we are 1 week in, I have not seen a single flea, and my recently adopted street cat’s ear mites are nearly gone. This was my first PetVet visit with a 33-month-old Springer Spaniel, which we just got 10 days earlier. The visit was to Tractor Supply, and the process was a bit chaotic—dogs everywhere and a few cats in crates. Many of us in line were new to the process. What I learned was 1) to have my animal registered with PetVet BEFORE the visit, and 2) Scan the QR code at the processing station as soon as possible to establish my place in line. Then it is a waiting game. Try to find an area that accommodates your pet. Move away from barking dogs and relax (if you can). You will receive a text message when it is your time to get in line. This was our first time using this clinic. I was searching for a place where we could get my Furbaby's vaccines without paying a fortune. As I was searching online, Tractor Supply came up. I was pleasantly surprised. These clinics are offered at multiple locations throughout Jacksonville at different times throughout the day.
The clinic staff arrived on time and immediately started seeing patients. When you arrive there is a barcode on the door that you scan to signify you have arrived. You can also pre-register which is what I did when I found this clinic.
