Pamela Loves Pets offers 24/7 emergency drop-off services, pet sitting, and boarding for dogs, including overnight stays and daycare. They also care for exotic animals. The business is open always and provides quick responses to calls and texts. They take pride in their secure dog runs and provide regular updates and communication to pet owners. I called this daycare for some information regarding her daycare. When I asked about breed restrictions, as I have two breeds that may be turned away from places, she said “probably a Rottweiler. One tore up some plumbing”. When I mentioned he was heavily trained she said that would be fine and went on a long speech with information about her current clients. To her current clients: she let me know that a lot of you are nurses working 6am to 6pm and that your dogs are left alone in an unlocked room accessible to the public from 530-645. As someone with a stalker, that’s a bit (very) concerning. When I asked her to not contact me again, she responded and told me that the dog had been left alone long enough to dig 6 feet into the ground. I was going to leave this alone, however, when she responded to me and immediately blocked me, I checked the reviews and see she will likely call this a “FAKE ENGAGEMENT” since I’ve never used her before. I will update this with a response to her, what I’m sure will be, very angry response to this review. I’m disappointed in myself for not checking her reviews before calling. After working in the dog industry for so long, I’ve realized you can’t alway trust reviews because sometimes people just don’t like how things are and that’s their prerogative. But why is this lady being mean to customers leaving 4 star reviews? Why is she leaving dogs unattended long enough to dig six feet under ground? Why is she sharing everyone else’s personal life in her responses to these reviews?
Pamela is AWESOME!! I was in serious need to find shelter for one of my old dogs until we could get him into a new home. I called her and she took him right in! She made him feel at home! She has a big open space for the dogs to be able to be free and play and she also has an insulated room for them to keep them comfortable no matter the whether conditions. It’s PERFECT!! She also sends you pictures and updates throughout the stay of your pet. I’m telling you.. it’s amazing! She knows what she is doing and I would HIGHLY recommend!
She took care of my two pups while I was away for 2 weeks. I got lots of updates that they were doing well and we're very happy! I felt my dogs were loved on, entertained, and not left alone. Thank you for your help!
