Review of North Florida Restoration and Remodeling for a major kitchen renovation We have lived in Fernandina Beach, Florida for about 18 months and we decided we wanted to open up our kitchen and add a large quartz peninsula, new cabinets and new flooring for the entire first floor. My wife and I do not believe in finding the lowest price but instead search for “true value”. We determine “true value” by contracting locally and reviewing reviews of past work and the satisfaction of past customers regarding quality of work and the ability of the contractor to clearly explain what work is involved. We always try to clearly spell out, as much as possible, what is included in the project in order to avoid unexpected surprises. As much as possible we visit the contractor’s workplace to talk to him and make sure he is someone we can trust and that will explain any questions we may have. The project included removing all existing cabinets and hanging them in our 2 car garage, ripping out the wall between the kitchen and living room, all plumbing work and all electrical work related to installing new cabinets and the quartz peninsula and then installing new flooring for the entire first floor. Jacob Hill, the owner of North Florida Restoration promised to start the project on March 16, 2020, which he did, and the entire project was completed in 23 days. His ability to communicate and stay on top of the progress of the job and the subcontractors he brought to the job were exceptional and any questions/issues were immediately taken care of. Jacob completed his segment of the job on time, within budget and he always conducted himself in a professional and friendly manner and exhibited great expertise in all segments of the job. My wife and I strongly recommend North Florida Restoration and Remodeling for any kitchen renovation project and invite potential customers to see the job he did for us. Did a great job on a repair and remodel of my house on Amelia Island. I live in California, so everything was done by phone and email. Jacob was easy to work with; did what he said he would and did it on time, at a fair price. When you're 3,000 miles away, it's good to work with somebody trustworthy.
